After 90 bids were placed on the property, it sold for €345,000.

Walkinstown is well served by transportation links including the R110 Long Mile Road providing access to the city centre.

The M50 motorway and N7 are situated immediately to the west, public transport links are provided by several bus routes and the Luas Red Line.
