Magnetic crests stolen from council van

SOUTH Dublin County Council has made the public aware that two magnetic SDCC crests were stolen off two leakage inspector vans on Tuesday, September 4.

The theft has been reported to Ronanstown Garda Station in Clondalkin.

The council has reminded people, especially in this circumstance, that all South Dublin County Council staff carry ID.

When contacted by The Echo, a council spokesperson said: “All council staff carry official ID.

“The council advises all householders who engage with council personnel outside of council buildings to ask for evidence of this ID.”
