Maguire, aged 20, with an address at Lealand Road, Clondalkin, is charged with assaulting a named man causing him harm at the Roadstone Social Club, Kingswood Road, Clondalkin, on October 16, 2016.

The court had heard it will be alleged that at 1am on October 16, 2016, the injured party was leaving a birthday party with his girlfriend when he was struck from behind by Maguire.

The injured party fell to the ground and this caused a hairline fracture to his jaw and the loss of three teeth.

The incident was allegedly one punch and the injuries were caused when the injured party fell to the ground, the court had heard.

The court heard that the book of evidence was not ready.

Judge McHugh remanded Maguire on continuing bail to a date in November for service of the book of evidence.
