IT WAS a lucky July for Lucan’s Eoin Tully who has just returned from the World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships in Truro, Nova Scotia with one gold and one silver medal.

After travelling for over 24 hours the Irish team arrived in Dublin Airport to a rapturous reception.

Many new friendships were formed during the competition by both swimmers and supporters and live streaming of the event was a great bonus for all the supporters back home.
