‘Dumb criminal’ hid inside bookies

A MAN who attempted to rob a local bookies tried to hide from gardaí in the shop – because he didn’t want to be branded “Ireland’s dumbest criminal”.

Gardaí found Ian Howe hiding  in the Ladbrokes outlet on St Patrick’s Day last year.
