DFB on standby as Dublin mountain fire burns through the night
Units from Dublin Fire Brigade remain on standby this morning as the fire that swept across the Dublin mountains continues to be tackled.
Three units from Rathfarnham and Dun Laoghaire attended the scene last night, while Coillte, who manage the land, have now taken charge of the situation.
With our colleagues from @coilltenews we're going to monitor the area of the earlier gorse #fire for the night #DublinMountains

Dry land and strong winds contributed to the fire's intensity, with the blaze visible from many parts of the capital.
Inspections look set to take place this morning, and we will keep you up to date with any further developments.
