Dublin Bus not serving Cherry Orchard this evening due to anti-social behaviour

Dublin Bus have been forced to curtail another local bus route due to anti-social behaviour this afternoon – this time in Ballyfermot.

Both the 79 and 79A will not be serving Cherry Orchard, with service expected to return later this evening.

In an update, a spokesperson said: “We wish to advise customers that due to anti social behaviour Route 79/79a will not serve Cherry Orchard for the next hour.

“Normal service will resume at 19:00.

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The curtailment follows similar action by the operator in Clondalkin on Friday and in Tallaght over the last three weeks.
