Gardai arrest two males in relation to investigation into death of man

TWO men were arrested this morning by gardai in relation to an investigation surrounding the death of a man following a house fire in Bluebell on May 18.

The two men arrested are in their 30s. They are currently detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Clondalkin and Lucan garda stations.

On May 18, Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene of a house fire at 486B Bluebell Avenue, Dublin 12.

Fire brigade personnel discovered the body of a male in his 40s in the house and gardai at Clondalkin garda station attended the scene.

At the time of the tragedy, gardai made a public appeal for information to anybody who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.

Both men were arrested this morning in the Dublin area.

Gardai say investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
