Leinster baby dives in for Euro glory

By Maurice Garvey

LEINSTER Rugby fan Hannah Crumlish from Rathfarnham hopes her team will make a splash in Spain tomorrow in the European Champions Cup final.

The nine-month-old toddler was cooling off in her Water Babies session ahead of what promises to be a deep end battle against French side Racing Metro (Saturday, 4.45pm Irish time, Bilbao).

Despite looking gentle, Hannah’s swim provides a complete physical workout, strengthening the heart, lungs and respiratory system which, in turn, aiding development of the brain.

According to the group, a baby’s brain grows more rapidly than at any other time during their first year of life, with every movement helping to strengthen this growth.
