Pensioner charged with stealing €50 dress to fight case in court

A PENSIONER has been charged with stealing a €50 dress, Tallaght Court has heard.

Michael Buckley intends to fight his case.

Sergeant Eithne Madden told Judge Patricia McNamara that there would be three prosecution witnesses in the case.

Buckley, aged 68, with an address at Mourne Road, Drimnagh, is charged with stealing a dress worth €50 from Dunnes Stores, Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre, Tallaght, on April 23, 2017.

Buckley’s solicitor, Eddie O’Connor, told Judge McNamara that he had received disclosure in the case.

Judge McNamara remanded Buckley on continuing bail to a date in October for hearing.
