Permission granted for Firhouse schools
By Echo Reporter
PERMISSION has been granted by An Bord Pleanala for the development of two schools on Ballycullen Drive in Firhouse, The Echo has learned.
The permission was granted after An Bord Pleanala required additional time to make a decision on the application, with the decision date pushed back to June from its original date of May 11.

It will see the development of two permanent school buildings for Firhouse Educate Together and Gaelscoil na Giuise.
The controversial planning application saw many question the suitability of the chosen site on Ballycullen Drive, leading to the appeal to An Bord Pleanala following a grant of permission for the development by South Dublin County Council.
Details of the decision are set to be released by An Bord Pleanala tomorrow (Friday), June 10.
