Two men arrested in relation to Clondalkin sexual assault released without charge

The investigation into a serious sexual assault in Clondalkin continues this morning after two men arrested in relation to the attack were released without charge.

The men, who were arrested yesterday morning in the Ronanstown area and could be questioned for up to 24 hours were released from Lucan Garda Station late last night.

Gardai are now continuing their investigation and have once again appealed to the public to come forward with any information they may have.

They have particularly asked that any motorists who may have been in the Ninth Lock Road/Neilstown Road area around 3:20am on Thursday morning and who may have dashcams fitted to check the footage.
