Man stabbed in Tallaght

Gardai have launched an investigation after a man in his 30s was hospitalised following a knife attack in Tallaght.

The incident happened just before 6pm this evening.

The victim was discovered at an apartment off Belgard square.

He sustained a number of stab wounds and has been taken to Tallaght Hospital.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and no arrests have been made.
