Parents of teenagers in Tallaght encouraged to take courses in St Aidan’s

FREE tailored and relevant courses for the parents of teenagers are taking place in St Aidan’s Community School in Brookfield, Tallaght, from September to June.

Organised by the Parents’ Support Network Tallaght, the courses are open to parents living across Tallaght and Whitechurch and cover an impressive range of relevant topics that will support parents to support their children.

Alongside a general Parenting Teens course, the list of free programmes also include talks and workshops on how to build self-esteem and life skills in children and teens, alcohol and teenagers, getting homework and study done and digital safety.

On Tuesday, October 3, there will also be a talk in Tallaght Library from 6.30pm to 8pm on Weed, Cannabis and Hash – What’s Out There for Teens Today.


A number of local services will deliver the courses such as Foróige Tallaght Youth Service, Barnardos and YoDA, the Youth Drugs and Alcohol service in Tallaght.
