Smith’s charity fundraiser for Pieta House tops €5,000

SMITH’S Building Supplies  were delighted to present Pieta House with a cheque for over €5,425 thanks to the proceeds from their annual charity fundraiser.

The event on October 26 featured a wide variety of entertainment, with 15 businesses involved in the bucking bronco challenge and up to 16 building suppliers hosted various demonstrations in the showroom.  Free food was also on offer as well as raffles with spot prizes.

Walkinstown resident and Fair City actor Johnny Ward – an ambassador for the suicide and self-harm prevention organisation Pieta House – volunteered to hand out prizes on the day.
