Gardai investigate after man assaulted and robbed on Easter Sunday in Tallaght

Gardai are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted and robbed on Main Street, Tallaght, on Sunday night. 

In a statement to The Echo today, a Garda spokesperson confirmed that a man in his 30s was allegedly assaulted by three males at approximately 22:15pm on Sunday, April 1 - and was robbed of his jacket and phone.

The man received minor injuries during the incident and was treated at Tallaght Hospital.

According to the Garda spokesperson: "Gardai are investigating a robbery from a person which occurred on Main St, Tallaght, on the 1st April at approximately 22.15pm.

"A man in his 30s was allegedly assaulted by 3 males (no descriptions) and robbed of his jacket and phone.

"He received minor injuries and was treated at Tallaght Hospital for same.

“No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
