Free scalp consultations in The Square pop-up venture

A POP-up venture providing free consultations on scalp health opened in The Square Shopping Centre on September 1.

King Hair & Beauty are running a scalp care and hair extensions pop-up at the Tallaght shopping centre until Christmas.

Located on Level 3, opposite Dunnes Stores, the pop-up is completely Covid-compliant and the consultations are operating on a pre-booking appointment system only.

However, walk-ins are welcome to drop by and ask advice without an appointment.

Founder and CEO Samantha King, says her hair and beauty team has undergone extensive training to become experts in the area of scalp health and hair extensions.

Samantha herself has recently undergone bariatric surgery and is following a dedicated plan to help prevent hair loss – bringing her 16,000-strong audience along the journey with her, across the King Instagram accounts.

“We’re super-excited to announce the opening of our Dublin pop-up. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes upskilling our staff and investing in bespoke technology to be able to provide this fantastic service,” Samantha said.

“We are all about affordable luxury and have a range of extensions to suit everybody. We are also delighted to be able to offer our scalp health consultations free of charge to ensure it’s a service that is accessible to everyone. We can also suggest a range of products to suit all budgets.”

Based in Wicklow, King Hair & Beauty has developed its own luxury hair extension range.

They utilise camera technology to assess and prescribe solutions to boost scalp health and tackle individual scalp issues such as hair-loss, flakiness and excess oil.

The salon will also offer hair extension applications across all of their methods tailored to the individual onsite.

Opening hours for the pop-up are – Mon, Tue, Sat: 9am to 6pm; Wed, Thur and Fri: 9am to 9pm; and Sun: 11am to 6pm.
