Coronavirus: 6,697 PCR-confirmed cases

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 6,697 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

In addition, on Thursday, February 3, some 5,639 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

As of 8am today, 597 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 66 are in ICU.

The daily numbers were released by NPHET in its statement this evening.
