Gardai investigating brutal attack on Tallaght family

Gardaí in Tallaght have confirmed to the Echo that they are investigating an incident in Drumcairn Parade on Sunday morning at approximately 1.50am.

During the attack four people, two males and two females ranging in their 20’s and 30’s were assaulted by two assailants.

All four victims were taken to Tallaght Hospital with injuries.

It is understood the attackers left the scene emptyhanded after a struggle in which the victims were struck a number of times.

It was also confirmed to the Echo that no arrests have yet been made, but the investigation is on-going.

Gardai are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
