
100 jobs created in Rathcoole
VYTA Group, an IT recycling company is to create 100 new jobs at it’s sites in Rathcoole, the UK and Northern Ireland.
The roles are to be created over the next two-and-a-half years and will span a range of departments. The company, which helps businesses to reduce the carbon footprint of their IT equipment, will grow its staff to 220 by the end of 2025.
The jobs come on the back of a €6.4m investment from the group to support it’s rapid growth. The company collects, refurbishes, recycles and resells retired IT equipment while ensuring complete data destruction for data-bearing items.
Vyta is currently seeking to acquire like-minded IT asset disposition (ITAD) companies across Europe. The company recently acquired the Essex-based ITAD, FGD, following a €13m investment from MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland.
Philip McMichael, founder and CEO, Vyta Group, said the company wants to build on an “exciting year” of growth with further expansion across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
