14 sites identified for intensive residential development
THE Department of Housing has identified 14 sites where intensive residential development could take place – including Tallaght, Adamstown, and City Edge encompassing the Naas Road, Ballymount and Park West.
The plan has been developed by a working group which examined areas in Dublin where housing could be constructed and which has strong public transport connections.
The Dublin Transport Orientated Development group suggested the sites for intensive house building, which could see housing and shops being developed.
The recommendations were brought forward to Cabinet by Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien, on Tuesday.
