17 residents remain at nursing home hoping facility stays open
UP TO 17 residents remain at Lucan Lodge Nursing Home as families of loved ones continue their lobby efforts for the government to provide funding to keep the facility open.
Friday, July 26, was to be the final deadline for transfers out of the facility, but loved ones say they cannot be moved due to heightened medical needs and conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s.
