OVER 300 delegates from around the world visited the TJ O’Mahony flagship store in Ballymount as part of the 7th annual Global DIY Summit.

With Ireland the host country for this year’s summit, the builders’ merchants were subject to a visit from hundreds of international delegates while they launched their brand new Bostik Smart Adhesives Centre.

(Home Project Centre Managing Director), Vincent Legros (CEO of Bostik Worldwide), John O’Connell (TJ O’Mahony) and Robert Massey (Bostik)

Having served the country and local community for over 60 years with quality supplies in both the building and home improvement sectors, the hardware company is constantly growing, with the Ballymount store chosen for the international visit.

CEO of Home Project Centre Group (owner-group of TJ O’Mahony), Sean Moran, spoke of the company’s delight in welcoming Bostik Worldwide chairman, Vincent Legros, and delegates to the store for a tour.

He said: “We were delighted and privileged to welcome Vincent Legros to the store, and to have the Global DIY Summit delegation choose TJ O’Mahony’s for their Store Tour is a great accolade and tribute to the work and ongoing innovation from the team here at TJ O’Mahony’s.”

He expanded on having Mr Legros there to cut the ribbon by saying: “The development of the Bostik Smart Adhesives Centre is central to our ongoing commitment to meet the demands required by modern building techniques.

“The Bostik Smart Centre delivers a comprehensive solution together with the expertise from the highly trained team at TJ O’Mahony’s.”

Prior to the Global DIY Summit visit last Wednesday, June 5, TJ O’Mahony’s Ballymount also unveiled their new storefront redesign with all new signage.

The Bostik Smart Adhesives Centre is now open at TJ O’Mahony’s flagship store in Ballymount, selling a range of construction adhesives.
