€45,000 worth of heroin seized in Clondalkin

AS PART of an on going operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Ronanstown area of Clondalkin, Gardaí from the Ronanstown Drugs Unit carried out an operation in the Balgaddy area of Ronanstown today, Monday, May 21.

They stopped a male teenager and recovered approx. €2,000 worth of heroin (subject to analysis) on this person. 

He was arrested and conveyed to Ronanstown Garda station where he is currently detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.

As part of a follow up search of a house on Foxdene Avenue, Clondalkin, heroin with an approximate street value of €43,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.
