133 social housing units under construction

THERE are currently 133 social housing units being developed in Tallaght, reports Aimee Walsh.
South Dublin County Council revealed that prior to Level 5 restrictions in January, there were two new projects under construction, but the closing of construction sites has put the building on hold.
Work on-going in Maplewood, Tallaght
When Level 5 restrictions are lifted, a third new project at Whitestown Way is due to commence, which will consist of 81 houses and is a Clúid Housing Older Persons Specific Project.
There are 40 houses under construction with Clúid Housing at Fernwood and Maplewood, which is also an Older Persons Specific Project.
A local Authority Build Project is being developed at St Catherine’s Way, which consists of 12 houses.
