Killinarden undeveloped lands with guide price of €420k sold for €711,000

LANDS described as having “development potential” in rural Killinarden have sold in an auction for €711,000.

Located just off the Kiltipper Road on undeveloped lands in upper Killinarden, the parcel of land was subject to an auction this past week as per BidX1.

The auction caught fire in the final minutes, jumping by €100k as the bidding intensified.

Bidding started at €420k on July 23 and continued for three days for Lot 77 lands at Killinarden, which is made up of two different folios at 4.24 Ha and 1.23 Ha respectively – measuring out to around 13.51 acres overall.

On the property register, the lands are registered at freehold title level and were listed in vacant possession.

At 4pm on July 26, bidding was in full flow with the highest at €611k and within five minutes it sold at €711k – after the winning bidder raised their nearest competitor by €9k.
