Four people hospitalised after Drimnagh House Fire

Four people were taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning after a house fire broke out in Drimnagh.

The blaze happened at a home on Kilworth Road at around 4:10am.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed to the Echo that two fire engines and an ambulance rushed to the scene this morning.

It was also confirmed that four people were rescued and were taken to St James’s Hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.

The condition of those rescued is unknown at this time.
