Two blocks of homes planned for Saggart

An application has been lodged for the construction of two blocks of homes on Slade Road, Saggart.

The applicants, Donal and Linda Burns (trading as Burns Partnership), lodged the application on January 2 for the mixed-use development consisting of Block A with two semi-detached, two-storey homes with attic accommodation and dormer-type windows to the rear of the site.

The submission includes plans for a second block, Block B, at the front of the site and would consist of two shop units and two office units at ground level floor, one office unit and three two-bedroom apartments at the first level and three two-bedroom apartments at the second level.

Plans for the demolition of two semi-detached houses also form part of the application.
