Abby O’Reilly’s wonderful picture of different families

The judges were very impressed with each and every one of the drawings, and thought the standard of all the pieces entered was ‘amazing’.

Abby, who attends Holy Family National School in Rathcoole, drew a wonderful picture of different families in their social bubbles within snow globes.

The judges thought the picture was a worthy winner as it was a brilliant idea, as well as being very detailed and beautifully drawn.

Abby’s mother has said she is ‘over the moon’ at the news.

Abby’s win meant she got the opportunity to switch on the RTÉ Christmas lights this afternoon, ahead of the Late Late Toy Show.
