By William O'Connor
ADDITIONAL information has been requested by South Dublin County Council from Double E Investments Ltd for plans at the former McHugh’s Shopping Arcade and Traders pub site in Greenhills.
Located at St James’ Road and Limekiln Green in Greenhills, the proposed plans include revisions to previously granted permission (Ref. SD16A/0060) which permitted a mixed retail/residential development consisting of removal of stair number one at ground and first-floor level.

The plans also included an increase in the size of the Retail Unit 1 at ground-floor level by 18 sq m; a reduction in the size of the Doctors’ Surgery at ground-floor level by 13.3 sq m and provision of an additional residential bin store at ground-floor level.
The plans include the reconfiguration of first- and second-floor levels to facilitate an increase in residential units from 26 to 32 across first- and second-floor level and telecommunications antenna and dishes at roof level with no proposed external site changes.
