A PENSIONER was forced to sleep on the street in Spain and miss surgery, after the airline refused to accept cash for his carry-on suitcase.
George Hynes (73), from Ballyfermot, was due to take a Ryanair flight from Lanzarote to Alicante on August 17, for a medical appointment with the Health Care Abroad Scheme to receive urgent eye cataract surgery.
