Former IT Tallaght student, Andy McFadden, will be opening up his new restaurant Glovers Alley in the Fitzwilliam Hotel.

The 32-year-old Aylesbury native and Michelin-starred chef was formerly head chef at London’s acclaimed Pied a Terre and its sister restaurant L’Autre Pied.

There are high expectations for Andy McFadden’s new restaurant

McFadden was previously named as one of the most influential Irish people on the London restaurant scene in the annual Murphia List.

Andy McFadden’s new restaurant, Glovers Alley, will be replacing Kevin Thornton’s former Michelin-starred restaurant Thornton’s in the Fitzwilliam Hotel.

Although details are currently sparse on the opening of Andy McFadden’s new restaurant, the Tallaght chef’s new venture is expected to be a resounding success.

All eyes will be on Glovers Alley when the next Michelin stars are being announced in Ireland.
