Apartment complex blaze puts ‘the fear of god’ into residents
THE fire at an apartment complex in Blanchardstown two weeks ago put “the fear of God” into people living in apartments / duplexes with fire defects, according to members of the ‘Not Our Fault’ campaign, including home owners from the Crescent Building in Park West and Hunterswood, Ballycullen.
Despite promises made by government in January for 100 per cent redress, to date there has been no tangible support for affected residents, who say Minister for Housing Daragh O’Brien is “gambling with people’s lives”.
