
Appeal for witnesses after serious road traffic collision in Clondalkin

Gardai in Clondalkin are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious road traffic collision that occurred on Oak Road, Clondalkin, on Friday afternoon.
The collision, which happened on Friday, June 1, at around 3.30pm, involved a car and pedal cyclist, with the cyclist brought to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries.
The 30-year-old female cyclist remains in hospital in a critical condition, according to gardai.
The female driver (31) was uninjured.
According to a Garda statement released today: “Gardai investigating a serious road traffic collision that occured on Friday, June 1, at approximately 3.30pm on Oak Road, Clondalkin are appealing for witnesses.
“Gardaí are appealing to any persons who may have witnessed the collision or who travelled on the Oak Road on Friday afternoon at 3.30pm approximately, and who may have dash cam equipment to assist them in their investigation.”
