Appeals to residents to mitigate halloween problems
RESIDENTS in Drimnagh were asked to “lock their bins” in one last attempt to prevent illegal bonfires to be lit during Halloween celebrations.
The fires lit between Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7 around Benmadigan Road damaged a green area widely used by residents and released toxic fumes as rubbish bins were used for the bonfire.
