Application for completion of houses deemed invalid
AN APPLICATION for retention permission and completion of six houses at Elder Heath in Kiltipper has been deemed invalid by South Dublin County Council.
Applicant Kelland Homes Ltd, who list Claire Taheny, Patrick Kelly and Liam Creighton as directors, outlined plans for the six houses, which are part of the larger permitted Elder Heath housing development, to change house types and locations.
The proposed house type changes consisted of a change of house type from four permitted three-bed, semi-detached houses to four three-bed, two-storey terraced house units.
Permission was also sought for the retention of two semi-detached houses, relocated to accommodate a way leave to the east of the houses.
Provisions were included for all associated site development works for the proposed development, which is located on a site area of 0.08 hectares at Elder Grove.
The council deemed the application invalid last month, stating that in relation to the site notice and also the newspaper notice that the description of the development is “potentially misleading and unclear”.
The council also added that “permission is stated whereas retention should be stated” in the application.
