It is proposed to extend the clinic into the existing warehouse area of the building.

The internal works will have no effect on the footprint of the building and existing car-parking facilities will be retained.

Plans also contain proposals for alterations to front elevation, including forming of new openings and installation of an entrance canopy.

The Irish Blue Cross has provided a much-needed veterinary clinic at the Inchicore site since 2006.

As part of the subject conditions, the applicant shall pay €4,974 to the planning authority.

Dublin City Council granted permission for the application on August 1.
