Calls for clubs to get ‘sin bins’ to remove drug paraphernalia
LOCAL sports clubs should be provided with hazardous waste bins and litter pickers to remove drug paraphernalia, such as needles, from their pitches, according to a local councillor.
Sinn Féin councillor Louise Dunne raised the issue at a meeting this week, while her party colleague, Cllr Cathal King, described having to remove 20 needles at once at a location in the Tallaght area.
