Change of use sought by Long Mile furniture centre Finline

PERMISSION is being sought by Finline Furniture for a change of use of the rear portion of a premises in the Long Mile Centre in Walkinstown from warehouse distribution to retail use.

The proposal also includes the sub-division of an existing unit to facilitate transfer of part of the unit to adjoining premises 109/110, which is not within the ownership of the applicants, but without any change of use.

Provision of new escape doorways to the side and rear of the premises is included, and permission is also being sought for changes to the front elevation.

These changes include a new signage panel over the front elevation and for alterations to existing totem signage panel adjacent to the public roadside.

A decision on the application has not yet been made by Dublin City Council.
