Ciarán Carr Christmas Busk to take centre stage in Clondalkin

THE 10th annual Ciarán Carr Christmas Busk takes place this Saturday, December 23, outside Clondalkin Credit Union at 7.30pm

The line-up for the evening includes Kiera Dignam, Daoirí Farrell, Micah, Colm Gavin, Sammy Copley, Jack Whelan and many more.

Busk organiser and performer Colm Gavin said: “The busk has grown to the point where each year we have a team of up to 10 stewards just to accommodate the audience which this year is anticipated to be in the high hundreds.

“Our goal every year is to put on an entertaining performance and to raise money for a very worthy cause.”

There will be a bucket collection at the busk to raise funds for the Ciarán Carr Foundation, which provides defibrillators at key locations around the community.

Since its inception in 2014, the busk has grown to become a much beloved Clondalkin tradition and was the subject of a recently released documentary out now on YouTube.
