Closure of Tower Rd next week for repairs

A LOCAL road is due to be closed temporarily next week for emergency repairs.

Tower Road, Clondalkin, from the junction of Tower Road/Main Street to the junction of Tower Road/Old Nangor Road will be closed on Wednesday, August 21 from 7.30 pm to 11 pm.

This is to facilitate Richard Nolan Civil Engineering Ltd to carry out an emergency manhole cover exchange outside of No. 4 Tower Road and Clondalkin Round Tower.

A detour route will be provided, namely Convent Road on to Boot Road, right turn onto Fonthill Road South, onto Nangor Road onto New Nangor Road and right turn onto Ninth Lock Road.

The length of the detour route is three kilometres. Local access will be maintained.
