Confrontation with waste volunteers by local resident
VOLUNTEERS carrying out a clean-up at the Jobstown stream were confronted by an irate resident for leaving waste to be collected by the council near a kissing gate leading to Jobstown Park.
The volunteers were from environmental groups Dodder Action and Litter Mugs and were removing dumped items from the Jobstown stream on Sunday, May 17, when the incident occurred.
