Coronavirus: 1314 new cases confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of *1314 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to information provided through the Department of Health’s Twitter account, 1314 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 are being reported as of midnight, Tuesday, August 3.

The Department also confirmed that as of 8am today 187 people are in hospital, 30 of whom are in ICU.

There have been a total of 5,044 deaths related to COVID-19.
