Coronavirus: 448 new cases are confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 448 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to information provided through the Department of Health’s Twitter account, 448 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 are being reported as of midnight, Friday, July 2.

Daily case numbers may change due to further data review, validation and update.

The Department also confirmed that 42 people are in hospital, 14 of whom are in ICU.
