Coronavirus: 448 new cases confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 448 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to information provided through the Department of Health, 448 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 are being reported. 

Daily case numbers may change due to further data review, validation and update.

The Department also confirmed that 44 people are in hospital, 14 of whom are in ICU.

As of Tuesday 29 June there have been 4,109,474 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Ireland:

• 2,443,921 people have received their first dose
• 1,665,553 people have received their second dose
