
‘Delight’ at official opening of new library and sensory room at Crumlin’s Scoil / Coláiste Eoin
THE opening of a new library and sensory room took place at Scoil/Coláiste Eoin in Crumlin.
Invited guests to the Armagh Road school included Lord Mayor of Dublin Dáithí de Róiste, Senator Catherine Ardagh, TD Patrick Costelloe, along with principals and Home School Community Liasion officers from other local schools.
Richie Doran, Deputy Principal, Scoil/Coláiste Eoin, said they were “delighted to celebrate the opening of their new library and sensory room on October 25.
“Principal Debbie O’Neill and I used the opportunity to highlight the fabulous work done by the whole school community in developing the library, and outlined plans for how this will enhance our bespoke literacy programme.
“Student librarians were on hand to show the visitors around and the school is immensely proud of all its students and how they have embraced the teaching and learning opportunities provided by this wonderful new space.”
