Demand for inquiry into the deaths in ED of 163 people
A TD is calling for an inquiry into the deaths of 163 people in the emergency department (ED) of Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) over the last five years.
However, a hospital spokesperson said the deaths “are not unexpected”, as many patients arrive in a critically ill condition usually following a car accident or an unexpected collapse.
