Developer Quintain lodges plans for 350 apartments in Lucan

PLANS for the construction of 350 apartments in Finnstown in Adamstown, Lucan, have been submitted to South Dublin County Council.

Developer Quintain Developments Ireland Limited’s plans include six studios, 169 one-bed and 175 two-bed apartments set out in three apartment blocks ranging from one to seven storeys.

The development will also include internal residential amenity space in Block A, vehicular junctions and an internal road, cycle and pedestrian network.

The applicant also proposes minor alterations to the south-east junction with Adamstown Way adjacent to the planned Central Boulevard amenity area.

Provision of 210 car parking spaces, cycle parking, including standalone cycle store at Block C, bin storage areas are included.

Hard and soft landscaped areas including public, communal and private open space areas, with balconies and terraces facing all aspects, forms part of the application.

A decision on Quintain’s planning application is due from South Dublin County Council by September 10.
