DFB called to grass fire in Bohernabreena after students burn their school books

Dublin Fire Brigade were called to deal with a grass fire this evening after some school kids set fire to their school books

The blaze in Bohernabreena required at least once unit from DFB.

The warm weather means vegetation is very dry, and DFB have been dealing both small and large grass fires in recent days.

On this evening’s fire in Bohernabreena, a spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said: “We’ve dealt with a grass fire in Bohernabreena caused by school kids burning their school books. Hope they don’t need to repeat.
