The organisers have issued an open invitation to former employees from Jacob’s Biscuit Factory to join them at Dublin City Library and Archive for a special event on 30 September.

The morning will include talks, an opportunity to share stories and memorabilia from your working life, and a visit to the exhibition, Jacob’s Biscuit Factory & Dublin: An Assorted History.

Those attending are encouraged to bring any memorabilia they may have, such as tins, labels or documents, while anyone with old photographs can bring them along.

The photographs will be recorded on the day and will then be added to the Jacob’s Biscuit Factory archive for researchers to access.

Everything you bring in will go home with you on the day.

All guests who wish to participate can do a short piece to camera with Dublin City Council Historian-In-Residence Maeve Casserly about their working life.

The information recorded will then be added to the Jacob’s Biscuit Factory archive.
